My first ever sesh with my shiny new kit straight out of the bubble wrap... didn't want to get it wet or dirty!

What a difference to yesterday! Where the Axxis (being too big with a flat hull) slapped about all over the plce, the Mystery sliced along as if it had full suspension - so smooth! And what a joy to ride a board that has rails that GRAB on the corners and don't let go!

As for the sail... where my old sails got snatched out of my hands in gusts, with the Gun, gusts present themselves as surges of power forwards... bliss!

A shame the wind droppped and I ended up ploughing along. I could've changed up, but all the excitement of buying and the journey had left me pretty whacked.

So close to making it around those blessed carve gybes...
